In addition, the TB Farming team develops the right strategies for the implementation of GMP and GDP processes.
CULTIVATION & PROCESSING
Our focus is on organic cannabis cultivation in accordance with the GACP standard, which allows us to trace every production batch of plants.
We are in possession of the Swissmedic operating license for the cultivation of THC-containing cannabis for medicinal purposes.
In addition, with the research license from the FOPH, we can continuously develop and evaluate cultivars.
Consistently high quality and reproducibility with simultaneous yield optimization are our top priorities.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
In addition to our role as a raw material producer of CBD and THC cannabis, our focus is on the development of marketable products for both the B2B and B2C segments.
We also have a wealth of experience gained over many years, which we use to advise and support our customers and partners on the legal requirements and regulations in connection with the market launch of cannabis products in Switzerland and internationally.

PLANT BREEDING
Our genetics pool currently comprises around 450 cannabis varieties, of which over 100 varieties have been tested and evaluated in terms of taste, cannabinoid content, growth, yield, resistance and terpene profile.
We are very well networked and work with seed banks around the globe.
In this cooperation, we have access to over 4000 varieties, some of which are still unexplored and offer great potential.
In addition, we are focusing on the development of varieties with specific medical properties in order to create targeted therapeutic options.

Good Agricultural and Collection Practices
The certification
Our facilities are characterized by first-class production quality, which was confirmed by a demanding audit process in November 2023.
We were awarded the new quality seal for hemp producers who work in accordance with the quality requirements of the Swiss GACP standard.
GACP
The GACP label stands for “Good Agricultural and Collection Practice” and represents best practice in the collection and cultivation of medicinal plants.
Certification in accordance with the GACP standard lays the foundation for the production of hemp-based active pharmaceutical ingredients and medicinal products.
TB Farming AG has thus created the necessary conditions to operate in this highly regulated area.
Pharmaceutical products
In order to be allowed to manufacture pharmaceutical products in Switzerland and Germany, a pharmaceutical manufacturing license (establishment license) from the competent therapeutic products control authority is required.
In Switzerland, this responsibility lies with the national therapeutic products institute “Swissmedic”, which has delegated supervision to four regional therapeutic products inspectorates.
These inspectorates work in close cooperation with the cantonal health authorities.
