Es hat eine zentrale Rolle bei der Gestaltung und Umsetzung der Gesundheitspolitik in der Schweiz. Das BAG ist zust&auml;ndig f&uuml;r die Entwicklung von Gesundheitsstrategien, die &Uuml;berwachung der Gesundheit der Bev&ouml;lkerung, die Regulierung des Gesundheitswesens und die Ausarbeitung von Gesetzen und Vorschriften im Gesundheitsbereich.<br class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Zu den Hauptaufgaben des BAG geh&ouml;ren die Gesundheitsf&ouml;rderung und Pr&auml;vention, die Sicherstellung der Gesundheitsversorgung, die &Uuml;berwachung von Epidemien und Infektionskrankheiten, die Regulierung von Arzneimitteln und Medizinprodukten sowie die F&ouml;rderung von Forschung und Innovation im Gesundheitswesen.
